All the steps you should do to successfully be with us!

Dear students

This is a research project for KLMU about using Second Life, the 3D social network, as a learning tool. You as students of KLMU can be a part of it if you follow the steps.
After experiencing Second Life you should fill up an online questionnaire. The data that you guys give us woud be analysed carefully to find out about SL's usefulness.

Step1- Go to Second Life website.

Step2- Create an account by pressing on the Join Now button. ( Choose a First Name, the last name would be given to you by SL, and choose a pass word. then chose your avatar. and finish the account creation process).

Step3- Download the viewer. ( it is 40 Megs) and after that install it.

Step4- key in your first name and password. and enter.

When you enter Second Life, the first Place you visit is called Welcome Island. This is the place we meet each other on this Saturday and Sunday. If you visit other places you need to come back to Welcome Island again.

To do so, just keep your Second Life viewer open and then click on this link: WELCOME ISLAND and then click on Visit this location
Then you will automatically come to this place.

Time and Date for our meeting in Second Life:

1- 23-Oct-2010, 12:00am to 1:00pm am Welcome Island in Second Life.

2- 24-Oct-2010, 10:30am to 11:30 am Welcome Island in Second Life.

Just keep in mind that you don't need to come to KLMU. You just need to get online from any place, your house or any other place, and then attend the meeting.
